How Tara became

Tara Williams Photography

I have always been interested in photography, but honestly never thought I would own my own business doing just that! I graduated from WTAMU with a degree in elementary education. After teaching for 3 years, then resigning to be a stay at home mom I slowly lost my identity as myself. I loved being a mother and homemaker, but I felt like something was missing. I finally came to the realization that I had lost my creative identity in the role of motherhood and decided to seek it out!
I love that I can incorporate my unique experiences as a teacher, mother, bride and wife and use what I know to bring out the very best in my clients! I walk away from my sessions renewed, filled with joy and with a big smile on my face. It is very rare I walk away from a session without a few hugs because I genuinely love my clients and we have a great time together! I now have a new purpose - and I am so fulfilled knowing that I am bringing so much joy to others!

The Williams family

Loving, traveling, and learning

I love my family (#boymom forever), my husband Chris is my best friend- he is my rock, the source of laughter in our home, and supports my dreams wholeheartedly. Our boys (Boston 10 & Maverick 7) are my world! We call them our little billy goats because they climb on everything! They are full of energy, have big hearts and are seriously clever! We home school part time around here and love every crazy minute of it! Our family loves to spend time together by going to the trampoline park, hitting balls at the batting cage, floating the river, and traveling.
Thank you for being here and supporting our little corner of the world!

A little coffee with my cream
Good Texas BBQ
Nights out to a Dancehall
Things that smell nice (because little boys don't!)
Chapstick- all the chapstick

These are a few of my favorite things!

The way to Tara's

Learn a little more about the funny girl behind the camera. There are some things that make her world go round!

take a look

Joanna Gaines & all things magnolia!

JoAnna Gaines - I mean, who doesn’t love her?! We are remodeling our home and my motto is WWJD - Jo, not Jesus! Gimme all that shiplap!!

Coconut Almonds!

My friend Anna got me hooked on these and I haven’t turned back! You can hardly find them in stores around here, so I order them from Amazon!! Prime shipping - 2 giant bags at a time haha!

coffee - i need it!

On the Daily. Hot or iced, I'm all about a good coffee as long as it's sweet! My absolute favorite, a "Iced Barnchata Chai" from our local Barnhouse Coffee- yum!

Statement Earrings

I love a good statement earring! Most days you will find me in my ripped jeans and a t-shirt… so these little gems are my easy way to look a little more pulled together!

I mean, I can’t get enough! And hello - 50% off for your birthday month?! I go every
year! And your welcome if you didn’t know that little tip!

Mint - I am just obsessed

There is no other word! Our entire main living / dining  / kitchen area is this color! It's bright, clean & happy - just the way I like to be!

That river life & concerts

We live 20 minutes away from New Braunfels. I love it here! The Texas country concerts, floating the river in the hot Texas sun with a good salty beer and our friends - that is the BEST kind of day.

take me around this place!
