YES, photos should be FUN, and playful, and intimate and candid and purposeful all at the same time! All I ask is that you be open minded, have a happy heart and be unapologetically in love and I will do the rest!

Hello, I’m Tara! I’m the owner and girl behind the lens at Tara Williams Photography. I am a Texas girl through and through currently living in Bulverde, Texas with my incredible husband Chris and our two wonderful boys Boston and Maverick. Chris’ grandparents also live with us with their full time caretaker and we have three pups! (Yes, it’s a full house but so full of energy and love!) Our boys are in a hybrid school program which means three days out of the school week they are home working and learning with me! If we aren’t attending a sporting event or practice, you can find us at the beach, floating the river or out in the boat! We aren’t picky about our water activities (anything to keep us cool in this Texas heat!)
I graduated from WTAMU with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching for 3 years, then resigning to be a stay at home mom I slowly lost my identity outside motherhood. I loved being a homemaker, but felt like there was something missing. I finally came to the realization that I had lost my creative identity and my joy for serving others in the role of motherhood and decided to seek it out! I love that I can incorporate my unique experiences as a teacher, mother, bride and wife and use that to bring out the very best in my clients! I absolutely LOVE what I do and adore the incredible people I have been blessed to serve. To have the opportunity to preserve memories through photos is such a profound honor. Photos not only preserve memories, but faces, moments, feelings and seasons of life that are so fleeting. This is why I do what I do. To have the honor of walking with you in some of the most important seasons of your life, documenting these precious moments for now and generations after to enjoy is such a joy to be experienced and something I am deeply honored to do.
She is an absolute blessing to work with. Tara is very passionate about photography and it surely shows when you work with her and see the final products.
